Does anyone really know the right size for an iPad?

It really all depends on your perspective.

Big iPad

I once dropped aniPad Pro 12.9on a glass table and shattered the screen.

All of these new size options are intriguing and potentially excellent tablet-size choices.

They might also be exactly what we don’t want.

That last one, in particular, has me concerned.

A 14-inch iPad Pro would be larger than theMacBook Air 13-inch.

It would be heavier than the existing 12.9-inch iPad Pro and possibly even more unwieldy.

Don’t misunderstand me, I get the strategy.

iPads are no longer just content consumption and drawing tablets.

Paired withMagic Keyboards, they becomeviable laptop replacements.

I suspect it’s not a huge number.

A 12.9-inch iPad Air might sound more appealing.

But can you reasonably call such a large machine an “Air”?

Now, a foldable iPad mini is a different story altogether.

The iPad, when paired with theApple Pencil 2is one of the best drawing platforms on the planet.

I have since drawn on almost every iPad model and size there is.
