Need to figure out how to stabilise video in Premiere Pro?
But theres a big downside to it as well, which is often referred to as shaky-cam.
Heres how it all works.
Well describe two simple methods here.
The first one is locating it on your box.
Once in your Project, drag that clip onto your Timeline.
Step 2: Stabiliser effect
Stabilising footage is done through the use of an effect.
Youll find the specific one youre after in the Media panels Effects tab.
Drill down the Video Effects folder, and open Distort to find Warp Stabiliser.
Alternatively, theres a handy search field at the top of that tab.
pop in in Warp to narrow down the available options.
You should end up with Warp Stabiliser' and ‘Wave Warp’.
Drag the former onto your clip in the timeline.
Right-punch it to see various info about the clip, including values for the warp stabiliser you just added.

Any alteration is to be done from the Effect Controls panel, top left of the interface.
confirm the clip in question is selected, for all of its parameters to be populated in there.
To do this, choose its fx tag, to the left of the effects name.
A crossed out tag means its disabled.
Step 4: Smooth Motion slider
Some of these parameters need to be explored in greater detail.
The easiest one is the Smoothness slider.
Above that is the Result menu.
By default Smooth Motion is selected, and you should keep to that for all moving shots.
Subspace Warp' tries to distort various parts of the frame to achieve a stable clip.
The next option has the software trying to corner-pin the frame so that stabilise the footage.
Failing that, were down to just Position, which is the simplest stabilisation option.
