Even though the Amazon Omni QLED (left) is brighter, the LG B3’s (right) image is more detailed, thanks to its OLED panel.
I recently tested two of these TVs, theAmazon Fire TV Omni QLEDand theLG B3.
Both rank as one of the best cheap TVs available today.
What are the differences between these two TVs that account for that price gap?
Even though the Amazon Omni QLED (left) is brighter, the LG B3’s (right) image is more detailed, thanks to its OLED panel.
But the Amazon Omni QLED definitely didnt go down without a fight.
The shadows within the scene were deep, rich and detailed and the contrast was brilliant.
Textures on the LG B3 OLED were better defined as well.
Although in darker movies such asThe Batman(pictured) the LG B3 (right) has better contrast, people may prefer a brighter image as shown on the Amazon Omni QLED (left).
As a result, the LG B3 can create a more solid, accurate and natural-looking image.
It was definitely brighter than the LG B3 OLED thanks to its QLED panel.
This visual advantage certainly made a case for the QLED panel.
The Amazon Omni QLED (left) has a bright and detailed image, but the LG B3 (right) has more clearly defined textures and pictures are more accurate overall.
For some people, that extra brightness will be an absolute must.
Final thoughts
Its clear that the LG B3 is the better of these two TVs.
Overall, it feels like a much more premium TV.
Despite the price gap, and the difference in quality, the Omni QLED is a perfectly good TV.
Making a choice between these two TVs boils down to use and budget.
